How to solve the cipher

Find exactly K hidden Sources. K is shown by the source circles and the puzzle notes.

Each printed number is a distance. It equals the shortest path to the nearest Source.
Count through open edges only. Move one hex at a time. Thick ink bars are walls, so distance must go around them.
Marks cycle by tap. Blank cells cycle through pencil dot, confirmed Source, cross-out, then blank again. Printed-number cells are fixed clues.
Submit exactly K confirmed Sources. A solved puzzle has one verified Source set. Wrong submissions show which marked Sources are right or wrong.
Lens is a counting aid. With Lens on, tap a clue to see its exact-distance cells. Oxblood cells are too close to that clue.
Temporal maps use one Source set. Survey, Rain, and Tomorrow show different open passages. Tinted clue numbers belong to their matching map tab.
Depth maps can use shafts. Street and sewer cells may connect through open shafts; a distance can travel between layers when the shaft is open.
